FO6 Dead wood

National Forest Inventory (NFI) is a monitoring system which produces information about forests and forest resources. Data are based on field measurements. Sampled plots are located in clusters and form a regular network over the whole country.

Amount of dead wood is evaluated in NFI based on all observed dead trees which are more than 1.3 meters long and more than 10 cm in diameter.
